Boston By Aida

Pictures of Boston from 2002-2015

Boston is a very walkable city with many distinctive neighborhoods; historical sights, cultural opportunities; and a huge sports fan base with the Celtics and Bruins playing at the 'Garden'

Follow the Freedom Trail starting on Boston Common, that takes you to the North End which is the Italian neighborhood and as such has many Italian restaurants. Keep on the Freedom Trail to Charlestown and the Navy Yard where the Constitution (Old Ironsides) is moored. Also take the Harbor Walk, and the Rose Kennedy Greenway stopping at Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market with the old signs reminding us that it was once a wholesale market. Walk over to Beacon Hill, and onto Back Bay. Stop in one of the many pubs and restaurants for some New England Clam Chowder, Maine Lobster, or freshly caught Atlantic fish.

Stroll the Esplanade beside the Charles River, where the Hatch Shell has outdoor summer concerts. Boston is also evolving into a more modern city - the Seaport District has newly constructed private residences, new marinas, offices and restaurants as well as a new convention center. All of Boston is easily accessible either by foot or by public transportation - the 'T' as we know it.

Please also look at a few photos of Paris, France; Dorset, England and some interesting UK pub signs.
